Celebrities – they’re just like us! Well, some of them are, anyway. You and I have to carry the same bag multiple times (maybe even for months! Imagine that!), while it seems like starlets are never spotted with the same purse twice. Not Whitney Port, though – she seems to actually use and enjoy her handbags for more than a week at a time!
This is the second time we’ve caught her carrying her black Rebecca Minkoff Devote Tote, and it looks just as good [...]
In: Khloe Kardashian
30 Jun 2009
Anyone else out there counting down the minutes until the new Keeping Up with the Kardashian’s spin-off show launches. I for one, cannot wait to see Khloe (aka Khlo) and Kourtney (aka Kourt) Kardashian take over Miami. Like Khloe and Kourtney, Miami also has a nickname: the Magic City. So, before I even get started, I am oh-so curious to see how these two Kardashian sisters tackle a new city, a new store and new men.
Well, one thing that is inevitable, the slightly less-famous Kardashian sisters are bound [...]
In: Evan Rachel Wood
30 Jun 2009
A lot of people have a lot of strong opinions about Evan Rachel Wood. Some people think she’s woefully pretentious, others think she goes pleasantly against the grain of Young Hollywood. Some people think she dresses like an old lady, others like her vintage-inspired style. Some people think she’s a homewrecker, other people…well, almost everyone seems to think she’s a homewrecker (although isn’t it really Marilyn Manson’s fault? Either way, I’m on Team Dita).
One thing I NEVER expected to hear her called, though, was [...]

There are very few members of Young Hollywood whose style is worthy of note, and Rihanna is one of them. In an industry that values traditional female beauty, she cuts her hair short, enjoys getting many and varied tattoos, and often chooses to wear things that are avant garde instead of pretty and expected. She does her own thing and looks utterly beautiful while doing it.
The outfit that we’re seeing here is fairly tame, but she still makes it into something interesting with a neon yellow [...]
In: Marc Jacobs
29 Jun 2009
Does the simple act of a man wearing a skirt make that skirt a kilt? Or are there other standards and characteristics that separate kilts from the skirts more commonly worn by women? I’d like to know, because Marc Jacobs is wearing one or the other here, and has been sporting them often for quite a while now, and I would like to call them the right thing.
Another thing that he’s been spotted wearing frequently is the black Hermes Birkin that he’s seen again toting here. [...]

This is one look that I would most definitely love to sport. I am so used to hearing about the drama that surrounds the former Laguna Beach and soon-to-be The Hills star that I don’t think I spend enough time checking out her look. Kristin Cavallari knew what she was doing when she picked out her outfit for the day. It’s not just the handbag that I am yearning for, but her entire look is one that so many of us “normal” people could actually pull off.
Kristin was spotted [...]
In: Ashley Tisdale
29 Jun 2009
My, my, my – Ashley Tisdale certainly does adore her Prada Cervo Antic Shoulder Bag. I’ve found evidence of her carrying it dating back to well over a year ago, and in celebrity handbag years, that might as well be a lifetime. Bags come and bags go, but people that really love their bags will wear their favorites long after they’ve gone out of season, and Ms. Tisdale doesn’t seem interested in chasing the latest bag trend at the expense of carrying what she likes, and I find [...]

I am a little scared to write what I am about to, but I’ll take a risk. I am not a devoted Gossip Girl follower. I realize that many other fashion bloggers cannot get enough of this show, but I just haven’t really caught on. But, I won’t completely dismiss the show yet. I mean, if nothing else, you can be sure that the ladies of Gossip Girl are always spotted wearing some amazing outfits and carrying fabulous handbags on and off set.
Michelle Trachtenberg was spotted carrying the Rebecca [...]
In: Lauren Conrad

I have mixed feelings about Lauren Conrad, as I suspect many of you do. All of the girls from The Hills are a certain level of annoying, but LC may be the least offensive, if only by virtue of her nearly complete blandness. She’s a bit of a blank canvas, a girl that girls identify with because we can project ourselves onto her without the nuisance of her strong personality getting in the way. And who knows if she’ll last without her TV show, and I’m betting [...]

26 Jun 2009
I may have lost the will to write about Heidi Pratt, and I’m not the only one. Recently, E! Online ran a poll to see if its readers wanted them to cover Heidi and Spencer’s antics, and 94% of readers said no. We’re not going to stop covering them as long as she carries fabulous bags, but it seems like E’s writers feel the way that a lot of us do – that they’re slimy, loathsome creatures that need to be sent back to whatever swamp they crawled [...]

We continue to slog through the pictures taken in and around the recent MTV Movie Awards, and they’ve provided some interesting bags and people indeed. Stephanie Pratt isn’t a particularly interesting person by any stretch of the imagination, but her friend might be. I wouldn’t know, though, because I don’t know who she is, and neither did the agency that provided the photo. I do like her red Chanel Shoulder Bag, although I don’t think it’s a particularly good for the event or that it goes particularly [...]

I’m so excited, I’m so excited, I’m so…scared!.
Saved By the Bell’s Jessie Spano, a.k.a Elizabeth Berkley, was part of one of the greatest ironic pop culture moments of my youth. In a classic episode, she broke down over a caffeine pill addiction while singing, and although it happened almost 20 years ago (hold on for a moment, I need to go cry for my lost youth…), it still has unimaginable cultural currency in 2009 – I had a conversation about it with a cute boy in a bar approximately [...]
