Anna Paquin’s Beryll bag is way too big

In fact, I’m not so sure if Anna’s bag is just way too big for her or if her outfit is just making her look comically tiny. It might be a combination of the both, making for maximum bag/wearer discontinuity.

Anna Paquin seems like a total doll and a fairly normal person, not to mention a great actress, so I don’t want to be too hard on her here, but what she’s wearing in these pictures is…not flattering. At all. In any way. Ok, so the jacket might be kind of cute in an off-kilter way, and it actually appears to fit her, unlike everything else she’s wearing, but the rest of it is too glaring and distracting for me to be too enthusiastic.

My biggest problem is with the jeans. Not only are they too long and not at all flattering to her hips, but they look like they belong to another person entirely. And that person might be a man. Like, I’m sure enough of that possibility that I’d put money on it. The boots? Might also belong to a dude. The bag, which is a Beryll Nomad Handbag doesn’t look terrible, just ridiculously oversized for her – you could look so much better, Anna!
