Anne Hathaway carries a Superbright Chanel

I must say, I loved Anne Hathaway in her princess days, and there is no doubt in my mind that she has done a brilliant job of revitalizing her career and proving herself as a serious actress. But with more fame comes more red carpet events and more coverage by the paparazzi, inevitable leading to many, many style opportunities. And Anne has taken that role with ease, breaking out gorgeous gowns and casual outfits alike.

Here she makes an unlikely pairing: an unbelievably bright turquoise Chanel Bubble Quilt Handbag with an otherwise quite normal and comfy outfit. But it works, and it works well. The bag adds some much-needed brightness to her outfit- a big, big improvement over the clown wig she donned earlier this much. Yep, it’s probably best to stick to the Chanel from now on for that color.

Not a big fan… sorry. I don’t like the nylon look, and I definitely don’t like the “shoulder pad”. Normally a big fan of Chanel, I am a little disappointed; it looks rather cheap rather than their normal classic sophisticated/chic pieces.

Yeah I am not loving this bag at all. The quilted nylon look has never appealed to me and I certainly don’t like it in that shade of turquoise. There are a lot of other bags that would have looked much better with her casual outfit. This bad just looks totally out of place in my opinion.
