Ashley Tisdale totes Givenchy

I’m not sure why there seem to be so many people out there intent on hating on Ashley Tisdale. Sure, she was in the High School Musical movies, which makes her inherently a bit grating. And she got a nose job, the results of which people have varying opinions about, and people think that that was bad of her. Young fans and whatnot. But let’s be realistic – nose jobs are as common as veneers in Hollywood. No sense in blaming the downfall of the youth on The Tiz’s deviated septum.

She seems to have at least a bit of her own sense of style, which is surprising when you consider that Disney usually micromanages the every outfit of its teen stars. Her outfits tend to err more on the side of rocker glam, and I can appreciate the look. She also has good taste in bags, as evidenced most recently by her Givenchy Nightingale Tote. I’ve long insisted that Givenchy makes the thinking starlet’s bag – it’s luxe and spend-y without being totally obvious or expected, which is just the note that they should be trying to strike. Whatever your thoughts on her, she’s got a winner on her hands (arms?) here.
