Blake Lively carries a bag we’ve seen before…

That’s right, folks, the bag that Blake Lively is carrying is not a new find for the BagThatStyle/PurseBlog crew. The Notting Hill Design Westbourne Tote may be from an indie designer, but we’ve been all over it for some time now. First, we caught Leighton Meester wearing it in baby blue, and now we’ve got Blake, in character, carrying the red python version.
And it is still, as it was before, perfection. I prefer its matte incarnations, but the detailing of this bag and the way the skins are pieced together shows an incredibly attention to craftsmanship that many major designers simply aren’t giving us anymore. The bag is exquisite, and I’d do a lot of unsavory things to have one in my closet right now. If you haven’t seen it before, be sure to take a trip to the designer’s website and check out the amazing ostrich, crocodile, and alligator versions – it’s worth your minutes, I assure you.

Still an amazing bag, and I love it in the red. I don’t like exotics, but you can barely tell that it is one from a distance.

I think the glossy finish is awesome so I have to slightly disagree with you! The Python is very subtle so I think its extremely tasteful for an exotic bag, like wearing a perfume that people can only smell when they are very close to you.. a nice little surprise! It has very clean lines and reminds me of a somewhat MOD style. I really like it as well.

what a pretty bag… But i must say- why do they dress this actress up so slutty? she looks nice, but she is a taller voluptious girl, please cover her cleavage and legs up. if she was petite – i would have no problem with it.

I love that bag, although I’m not a fan of the exotics. From a distance it looks like just a plain leather, and I would love it in just that plain leather. But it’s got the structure I love, and looks big enough for all of the gear I carry on a regular basis. And even though I can’t justify that amount of money, I’d be really tempted by the red in calfskin.

I don’t really like the bag that much…it’s just not my style. Maybe if I saw it in person, I would feel differently. Blake does look great here, as usual!

I love red bags – my favourite colours. I think they can act like neutrals. And I love the dress/vest combo here…I just love the style of the Gossip Girls!
