Debra Messing: Permanent Best Dressed List Member

Debra Messing I love Debra Messing. She has to be one of the celebs out there that I look out for when award season is in full swing. As I sit in front of my tv and watch the countless celebs walk down the infamous red carpet, I attempt to hurry the process along when I feel bored with the banter and simply can’t wait to see someone as lovely as Debra. Once again, when I saw her, my jaw dropped. Gorgeous, unbelievably gorgeous.

This year, Debra and her fashion team, consisting of Rachel Zoe I am sure, selected a breathtaking one-shoulder, blood-orange Michael Kors gown. There are plenty of people out there who try and stay away from gowns that are too similar in color to the red carpet itself. I, for one am absolutely thrilled that this gown graced us with its presence. Gold-leaf earrings and matching gold bangles actually help bring out the beading in the dress. Can you say knock-out?

    she always looks good because i think she figured out what colors work best for her haircolor and complexion…. i have yet to see her in a color that doesnt look flattering on her. love the classic style of this dress too!

    I missed the Emmy Awards the other night, so I unfortunately did not get to see all the fabulous outfits the stars wore….so thanks for showing some pics on here. Debra looks stunning! It’s funny, looking at her standing on the red carpet, she blends right into the background, because of her red dress. She really does look absolutely breathe taking though….that shade of red suits her well! I also love her gold leaf earrings and bangles…they really do bring out the beading in her dress, as you mentioned. Her makeup and hair is also perfect and looks very chic! Hope to see some more red carpet pics!

    She really is extremely pretty. I love that the dress is one shoulder. I think it is one of the most flattering cuts. She looks very lovely- her hair and makeup is exquisite.

    Debra and her team always make her red carpet appearances appear effortless. I think she was one of the best dressed women on the red carpet last night. Her hair and accessories always work well to bring out the dress and the color is so rich and bright yet perfect for her.

    Intersting little tidbit: Rachel Zoe, Debra’s stylist, said via her twitter page that none of her clients went to the Emmy’s this year. Then someone commented how Debra Messing was there and she responded by saying Debra is my client and her dress is by Michael Kors. SO not trying to start anything because I love RZ…but I’m not sure if she styled Debra this time around.

    She looks so amazing. I love that she took a risk by wearing red carpet red. I also love how she didn’t go overboard with her makeup… she wore a beautiful nude lip that works perfectly with that red dress.
