Elizabeth Berkley carries and unknown brown tote

I’m so excited, I’m so excited, I’m so…scared!.

Saved By the Bell’s Jessie Spano, a.k.a Elizabeth Berkley, was part of one of the greatest ironic pop culture moments of my youth. In a classic episode, she broke down over a caffeine pill addiction while singing, and although it happened almost 20 years ago (hold on for a moment, I need to go cry for my lost youth…), it still has unimaginable cultural currency in 2009 – I had a conversation about it with a cute boy in a bar approximately two weeks ago, and I’ve never referenced it and had someone not know what I was talking about. Apparently, it’s as universal as death and taxes, at least if you’re currently in your mid- to late-20s.

Anyway, time to talk turkey (or handbags), I guess. Except that we don’t know what hers is. Or why the paparazzi is following her. I mean, exactly what is she doing these days that would have the paparazzi following her around? Perhaps she’s been on a couple Lifetime movies or something to stir some kind of buzz?
