Gabriella Montez… I mean, Vanessa Hudgens Carries Givenchy

Until now, I was having a hard time separating Vanessa Hudgens from her High School Musical alter ego. You see, I think in terms of style, and before now I hadn’t really taken a close look at the wardrobe of Vanessa here. I’d just seen all three HSM movies, and her wardrobe didn’t seem so different than what I’d seen her wearing occasionally in the tabloids.
But now I see the difference, besides the fact that Gabriella is in love with Troy Bolton and Vanessa is in love with Zac Efron (you can see where I got befuddled- both are equally beautiful). Vanessa’s style has this great boho slash soft rock sensibility; case in point- the cool Wildfox Light Feather Raglan Tee she’s wearing here and the Cole Haan Cross-Body Bag she’s been spotted wearing recently.
But the bag she’s wearing in these photos, the supple Givenchy Medium Maxi Nightingale, shows the versatility in Vanessa’s wardrobe because, my goodness, can she dress in such a sophisticated manner at times. Has anyone checked out all those suede ankle booties she’s worn? Genius.

I like her shirt and it looks nice with her bag. I’ve only seen the first two HSM movies, but still- I doubt book worm Gabriella would pull half of the stuff Vanessa does. (Um, two photo scandals? I’d have thought she would learn her lesson after the first)

Love love love her style! She is literally my fashion icon (not so much the outfit in this pic tho). She does bohemian chic so well in such a laid back way, but always has the hottest accessories. As well as being a trend setter she also just seems like a real person, and quiet often is seen wearing the same things more than twice aka her balenciaga giant part time bag (le sigh, amazing). Go baby v!

Vanessa has great style and I would love to own 1 of everything she has! Love the bag…it’s sophisticated and laid-back at the same time. I also love, love, love her Wildfox tee! Wildfox makes such cute tops! I’m going to have to invest in a few.
