I have no problem admitting when I am wrong and this is one of those cases. When I first saw this bag carried by Hilary Duff, I was fairly certain it was Botkier, yet I had a few doubts. Thankfully, ladies from the Purse Forum chimed in and let me know that I was in fact wrong. Hilary is not carrying a Botkier on the set of Gossip Girl, she’s actually carrying the Rebecca Minkoff Fringe Darling Shoulder Bag. Thank goodness for a little extra help.
Hilary and the other girls on the set of Gossip Girl are privileged fashionistas – they get a chance to carry bags before they are available. This Rebecca Minkoff bag is just that – not even available yet. The pre-order option is available, which is nice.
Ok, moving onto the rest of Hil-Hil’s outfit. I’m not really a fan. I’m not sure if they are going for a pseudo-goth look or what the deal is, but there is just too much black. And then the little splash of color isn’t really doing anything for me. I’d love to see this bag paired with a different outfit though!

umm… no thanks! RM and fringe are two thing in the bag world I will never care for.

Love this bag! (And I am not a brown bag person). This is a new color called auburn, and if it’s anything like the original Darling the fringe version should be very comfortable to carry.

Nice bag! I could do without the fringe but the color is great and it looks so soft and functional.

Love this bag. I think this has to be the only bag with fringe that I like.

I actually really like the bag, but unfortunately that’s about all I like about her duds. I think the leather looks really divine, and the fringe gives it a nice boho flare. The bag looks like it would be from a bigger fashion house like Gucci, so I was surprised to learn it was a RM (especially because I love RM and thought I knew all of her styles- I didn’t know the Darling came in a fringe version). Regardless, I really like the bag.
