Hilary Duff is the latest starlet to carry Givenchy

Hey, lookie here, kids. We’ve got another young starlet carrying Givenchy. This time it’s Hilary Duff, and she’s carrying a recent favorite, the Givenchy Maxi Nightengale Tote.
Does anyone else get the feeling that Givenchy is about to blow the heck up? Their recent Paris haute couture show was extremely well-received, and with all kinds of young trendsetters (we’ve seen this same bag on The Tiz and Vanessa Hudgens in the span of less than a week) carrying their iconic leather bags, it seems like they’re one big It Bag away from being the brand that everyone’s talking about and all the mall stores are ripping off. Personally I prefer that their bags remain a bit of a poorly guarded secret among fashion aficionados, but their success is well-deserved.

I agree…Givenchy is definitely becoming a much hotter brand and creating many great items! I love this bag, but am not digging Hilary’s outfit. She looks very “scrubby”…even if she is just running some errands, she could have glammed it up a little more.

i have never thought of Givenchy as a bag designer more of a perfume house- but after seeing this bag I am totally in love with it- and i cannot wait for new designs by givenchy

Its funny how all the similar twenty something stars are carrying all the same bags albeit different colors. Looks very nice as a casual look.

Leave it to the Disney girls to pick the next It Bag. Actually, while this bag is nice enough, I’m not excited by it. And why is it ok for it to have two strap options when other designers have been ridiculed for the same style?

What is with her and huge bags? I don’t think they are that flattering on her. Plus, her sweater doesn’t look flattering from here – like a sweatshirt.

I love Hilary. She has such great style but never looks like she’s trying too hard. This bag works perfect with that aesthetic.
