Janice Dickinson is, um, classy?

Posted In Janice Dickinson on July 10th, 2009

Janice DickinsonI know I shouldn’t make generalizations but you know as well as I do that it happens from time to time. Case in point, Louis Vuitton handbags. For the most part I associate LV with class, elegance and sophistication. And by default I tend to think that when people carry LV they too are classy. However, these images are perfect examples of why generalizations can be oh so wrong!

Janice Dickinson is spotted here carrying a Louis Vuitton Monogram Etoile Shopper Bag while, per usual, behaving poorly. This self proclaimed world’s first super model definitely does not possess model behavior. I swear to the stars in the sky, I can’t for the life of me think of a picture or a tv clip where Ms. Dickinson is playing nice. True, her bag is gorgeous, but part of me likes it less when Janice is carrying it – just not quite as appealing. Hey Janice, stop flipping us all the bird and try flashing a smile for once. I doubt it will kill you.

I think LV lost its glamour years ago when it allowed it’s monogram to be painted all over a truck in the Fast and the Furious 2.

ITA with this post…and it just goes to show how one’s attitude can make or break a bag, not matter how gorgeous (or ugly) it might be. The earlier posts on Rhianna are a great counterpoint to this one!

Janice Dickinson is disgusting! I feel so bad for her children…I would be mortified to have a parent like her!!

Doesn’t being photographed come with the supermodel territory? I can’t feel bad for her attention-seeking self. I love that bag, but her arm on it loses some of the appeal.

i agree that LV has lost a bit of its “class” lately – maybe it’s just me, i grew up and i’m not all that logo all over kind of girl anymore, or maybe because there are so many counterfaits out there that everybody seems to carry a speedy or the carryall…i guess you don’t have to wear any logo or any brand to be classy. you can’t buy it. you rather born with it or you don’t have it.

She can’t seem to smile properly…

    Um…NO.

I’m just not feeling this bag.

I think LV is a classic, but I think that its unfortunately been faked a lot and I think that it has become so popular because its noteworthiness as a “luxury brand” that every girl on every street corner wants to sport one. To a point I think LV has gone too far with the designs. I prefer the original brown and tan LV pattern, some of the white patterns and newer neon designs are less noteworthy… I do like this bag through…. just not on Janet :)

Not liking the quilted look at all, and with someone as gross as her carrying it – NOT IMPRESSED.

I am not feeling the LV quilted bag and quilting should be left to Chanel….

i always felt that trashiest celebs feel the need to carry LV…. so i never was tempted by this brand.

even Louis Vuitton cannot lend badly needed class to Janice. She’s really bringing down the bag–usually a LV bag will bring it up.
Enough with her grossly pulled up face and pumped up lips. She’s declasse and so over.
