Jessica Alba carries exotic Ferragamo

Jessica Alba is one of those celebrities that, much like Nicole Richie, has been done well by motherhood. Before Jessica had her daughter, she always looked like such a sourpuss in photos – as if her fame and fortune were such enormous impositions on her life. That sort of attitude always turns me off to celebrities, but instead of becoming more protective and scowl-y with the addition of the child, Ms. Alba seems to have softened up considerably.

What hasn’t softened up is her expensive taste in bags, which has always been there, scowl or no scowl. Here she’s carrying a beautiful blue Salvatore Ferragamo Ostrich Tote that does not appear to be available in stores or online yet, which is one of the great advantages of celebrity. Not only does she have a beautiful daughter, but she gets all the cool bags first.
