Kate Hudson Carries a Creepily Familiar Bag

I’m a fan of Kate Hudson. I loved her in Almost Famous, but I love her easygoing, bohemian style even more.
That’s why I was pretty surprised to see Kate in this picture. Her outfit is pretty normal, to say the least. Leggings, a sleeveless sweater, and a pair of Havaianas sandals. That, plus her gigantic zig-zag canvas tote that is quite organic-looking. That tote is the only touch of the Kate Hudson careless, happy style I know and wish I could replicate. Well, the tote, the jumble of bracelets on her wrist, and her delicate gold teardrop hoop earrings.
Now the first thing that came to mind when I saw this picture is: I know that bag. It looks like a bag a saw on Shopbop, but it’s not there and I can’t recall what it is. Can you ID it?

Oh I know, you actually posted this bag before to ID but it was on another celebrity. I remember doing an extensive search on it. I can’t remember the celebrity but it was a few months back. I want to say Kim Catrall but I don’t think that is it. It was probably in the spring and I think the bag was in a different color combo.If I think of it I will post again.

Yes ! It was in a different color and kept going back to those Pierre Mascia totes that were in my history when I tried searching it the first time this bag was posted. I want to say it was in a different color combo and although I know it wasn’t Cher, for some reason I kept thinking it was on an older celeb or one that you don’t look to for their bags etc. like Sandra Bullock or someone not in the spotlight a lot like Lara Flynn Boyle or Kim Catrall or Nicolette Sheridan. I don’t think you referred to the pattern as zigzag though, that is why I couldn’t find it last night on the search.I know for sure it is somewhere on here though !

I am still looking. I think it was around april ish ! I think you (Megs) posted if someone could ID the bag. It is driving me crazy now ! I do remember it was a front picture and I think it was on the person’s right arm. I also remember thinking it was kind of inexpensive looking for that particular celeb to carry that is what piqued my curiosity about the bag too ! It will come to me !

Interesting bag. The pattern reminds me of something my parents owned in the past. I don’t think I could wear it — the size is just too much!

…but it was a much different style of bag. Kate’s bag reminds me more of something from Longchamp.

I love Kate and her style. That bag sure is huge though…looks a little silly on her.

i guess its not really a bag- she was probably going out of town, or camping….
