Katy Perry has Russell Brand, Chloe Paddington

Is it just me, or are Katy Perry and Russell Brand an oddly perfect couple? I know that some people in the media have expressed a certain amount of surprise at their relationship, but my reaction when I heard that they were together was that the whole thing seemed kind of…obvious.

They’re both kind of kooky public figures and adventurous dressers to say the least, and she seems like a good match for a man that’s known for being utterly and completely obsessed with sex. She did first gain fame by singing about flirtations with lesbianism, after all. They met when she introduced him at the VMAs earlier this year, and they’ve apparently been inseparable since. Here, the paps caught them in Hollywood, looking weird like they always do. Oddly, the most surprising thing about either of their outfits is how normal her handbag is – it’s a Chloe Paddington, which peaked in popularity long ago and hasn’t been seen being carried by starlets in quite a while. Maybe it’s on its way back in to style?
