Kelly Ripa: Fashionable Soccer Mom

I don’t have kids yet. But as my friends are beginning to have kids and I see what kind of mother’s they are turning into, I wonder what kind of mother I would be. Since this site is about celebs and fashion, we are all going to just go with the notion that I will be loving and nurturing and move onto the fashion! It should go without saying that I love lounging around in cozy sweats while I catch up on all sorts of trashy tv, but then there are times when all I want to do is get dressed up!

I would like to think that I could be a trend-setting mom like Kelly Ripa. I mean, c’mon people, LOOK AT HER! Pictured here out and about in NYC, Kelly looks as fashionable as ever. In fact, I can hardly believe how amazing she looks while attending her son’s soccer match/practice. It is as if she stepped off the set of LIVE! With Regis and Kelly and just headed out. While I wish I knew what handbag she was carrying, I also can’t get over her amazing heels; I want those too. I wonder if Kelly would let me take a sneak peek in her closet so I can get some fashion pointers… whether I am a mom or not!
