Leighton Meester carries an unknown clutch

Identifying the bags on Gossip Girl isn’t usually all that hard, for two reason: first, a lot of the bags they use are made by designers that we cover heavily on PurseBlog, and if they’ve hit the market yet, or have any brand signatures on them, it’s not hard to figure out who made them. Second, if the first thing isn’t true about a particular bag, usually the internet fashion community dissects the outfits in their paparazzi shots so carefully and thoroughly that a bit of smart Googling will yield the answer eventually.

Well, after searching through my own brain and pages of Google results for quite a while this morning, I just can’t come up with an answer for this one. Leighton Meester‘s dress has been widely identified as Elie Tahari, but no one seems to have an angle on her clutch. From a few closer shots that I’ve seen, it appears to be possibly made of snakeskin, but other than that, I don’t have much information for you ladies. So if someone knows, please enlighten us!
