Leona Lewis carries Stella McCartney’s bag of the moment

spl146120_004For some reason, the fact that Leona Lewis is a vegetarian managed to completely avoid me. I try to stay apprised of the causes and charities that stars support so that I can try to spend my dollars patronizing those that use their fame to do a bit of good, and Leona seems to fit the bill. I’m not a vegetarian myself, but most of Hollywood seems so slimy and contrived that it’s nice to see someone with some principles.

My discovery of Leona’s vegetarianism is a direct result of her bag choices. I’ve only written one other post about her (that I can remember), and the bag that she was carrying then was also from a vegan brand. So when I saw her with the Stella McCartney Falabella Bucket Bag, I figured that two vegan handbags couldn’t be a coincidence. Sure enough, they aren’t, and she’s looking absolutely stylish with her animal-friendly choice.

    I like the bag so much more than I thought I would. When you see it in photos on the web you can’t really understand the play of the metal, but now I get it and I like it. I hope that Leona Lewis is wearing all fake leather or Stella might want the bag back and who knows what PETA would do.
