Olivia Wilde Sparkles at 2009 Emmy Awards

I can’t imagine what it would be like trying to pick out that perfect gown for an awards show, but I have to say I wouldn’t mind seeing what it is like sometime. I wonder how many gowns a given celeb has to choose from on the day of the big event. No matter how many gowns Olivia Wilde had to look over, she surely picked a head-turner!
Olivia looked amazing in her blue, floral inspired gown by Marchesa. At first glance I was confused – wondering how the dress actually stayed on her tiny body. But, there is mesh that actually keeps the cutout detail that makes up the dress together. Take a look at how low the back of the dress goes. I think I would be a little nervous, but she pulls the look off. Add smoky makeup, drop earrings, Jimmy Choo Grant Satin Pumps and what is rumored to be a Tory Burch Clutch to complete her look.

Olivia is so pretty. I think her exotic eyes are so captivating! And her dress is a “head turner’ indeed! I think its very sexy without being too risqué
I love her Tory Burch clutch and I think it went with her ensemble.

The clutch Olivia Wilde is carrying is indeed NOT Tory Burch. It is a Marchesa clutch available Spring 2010.

i have seen the full length photos of this gown, and it was a bit over-powering on her tiny frame… there was too much going on, with cutouts, ruffles and sparkles. i wish she had a plain-er looking dress because her face is really beautiful and dramatic enough to carry any simple outfit

The dress that Olivia wore was truly unique and gorgeous! The dress gives off sex appeal, but in a demure way, which is nice. I also really loved her smoky eye makeup.

PERFECT! There’s no other words to describe Olivia’s look. The dress is simply gorgeous! Match it with the make up & the clutch made her drop dead gorgeous!
