Rachel McAdams Totes Givenchy on the Set
Posted In Rachel McAdams on July 23rd, 2009
On the set of her latest movie Morning Glory, Rachel McAdams looks so… unreal. No, really. It’s almost as if she were from another time, or at the very least, from that movie Pleasantville. I’d be fooled if it weren’t for the high-quality color photographs or the Givenchy Medium Eclipse Hobo she’s toting.
I like it. It sure does look a little heavy for her to be carrying in that fashion, especially with heels and a fancy dress. I probably would have recommended a clutch, though the hobo adds a casual vibe. And I actually like the mix of the nude dress with the tan bag- the purple scarf balances out all the light browns. But here, honestly, I think the standout is the dress- those folds! And since Rachel is running, you can kind of get an idea of how silky and filmy the dress would feel like in person.
I’ll definitely be in line at the cinemas in 2010 when the movie comes out- hopefully by then I will have snagged that dress.

I’m not crazy about the dress/bag combo either, but I like each separately. The bag is the winner for me. Then again, I love anything that reminds me of Paris : )

Mary, I agree!…. she makes such a beautiful 1940’s young lady. She suits the role.

That dress! I’ve been googling all over trying to find it. Does anyone know who makes it and/or where to get it? Or a similar version?

Her outfit is weightless, and the bag seems to ground the whole thing. Dunno – it’s an unlikely combination, but I love it all!

Rachel McAdams always looks so classy. I love her dress, but I think her bag is too casual for such an elegant outfit.

The bag is great and I love her dress, but I do agree that the bag looks a little heavy with her outfit. I think a clutch would be much more suited for what she’s wearing.

The dress steals the show, the bag is a little odd with it. Maybe if it were a different colour it wouldn’t look so out of place.

I agree that the bag doesn’t really go with the rest of the look! She looks pretty and I love the dress, but a clutch would have been much better!

Rachel McAdams looks so beautiful here and that dress is to die for! It’s so feminine and gorgeous! I agree with you about the color choices…the pink and nude look great together. The bag is beautiful, but I agree that it looks a little out of place. A smaller bag or clutch would have looked much better.

She looks gorgeous. Maybe the bag isn’t supposed to match? let’s hope so. Maybe she’s running to my house to drop off that gucci.

her bag reminds me of Bottega a little and she looks a bit washed out in all pastels
