Here we go again, an amazing handbag that has stumped us all. Typically, I am ok with not being able to identify a handbag here or there. And to be honest, I usually rely on Megs or Amanda to help me out. But from time to time, none of us can ID a bag. And even worse than that, the bag looks so vaguely familiar that it ends up haunting my dreams. I swear, I start dreaming about handbags and in these dreams I am on a quest to identify them.
Well, tween sensation, Selena Gomez is photographed here toting a rather amazing handbag that has left us all dazed and confused. While she has a Michael Kors wallet in hand, we aren’t sure what she has on her shoulder. Do you? No matter who makes the bag, big time or no-name designer, this is definitely a bag I’d like to have as mine!

I have the exact same bag……the bag on her shoulder is a Gucci “New Jackie”.

Thanks for the input, Beth! This bag has been stumping me for awhile. Are you sure it is the New Jackie (gorgeous bag, by the way)? I thought the New Jackie had one strap, but Selena’s bag has two…

I don’t mean to be a little harsh but I’m 90% sure it’s a fake Prada bag. I use to work for a company that sells fake purses and it looks identical to the replica Prada bags. Not to mention the leather looks fake and she’s only 16 years old (she might be rich but that doesn’t mean she has perfect taste yet, look at Miley Cyrus and her fake Chanel tote).

Yeah, it’s definitely not the Gucci one. Hers doesn’t have any fringe on it that I can see. Plus, Selena’s known for having cute inexpensive handbags from stores that I shop at because I’m a broke college kid (it’s why I love her style so much haha!!). For instance, there was one cute handbag she had that a lot of people were posting on sites about and it turned out to be an American Eagle handbag. Not saying that it can’t be an expensive, name brand bag, but it’s just not what Selena’s known to wear. A lot of her clothing in shows and movies can be found at Rampage, Wet Seal, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, and Lucky.

so i have her on myspace, she’s an old friend of mine from wayy back
i asked her where she got it cuz i kept seeing a whole bunch of blogs online talking about it. she told me she actually bought it at urban outfitters.
