Seren…err, Blake Lively carries Treesje

Blake Lively carries the Treesje Jovi BagOh, I love this time of year. I don’t mean August – I kind of hate August – I mean Gossip Girl filming season! There are so many photos that come out of that set to look at and dissect for fashion inspiration and New York City envy that I could look at them all day. And sometimes I do! Well, sort of, anyway.

It seem like getting a bag on one of the GG stars would be a dream for a small designer trying to get their name out there. Not only does the bag appear in the show, but it appears in the paparazzi photos, and everyone on the internet goes to great pains to identify every last thing that the stars wear. And that’s exactly what my job is today – here we’ve got Blake Lively wearing a Treesje Jovi Crossbody Bag in beautiful turquoise leather. I’m not usually a fan of gold hardware, but it coordinates with this color really well and creates a really memorable bag. In fact, it almost distracts me from the abomination of an outfit that Leighton Meester is wearing in these photos.

    Blake’s (Serena’s) bag is nice but what’s going on with her shirt? It’s open in the back and she appears to have nothing on under it. I’m not even going to start on Leighton’s outfit. Let’s just say that there is nothing I like about it.
