“Sex and the City” 80s flashback?? Yes, please.

I’m just about the biggest Sex and the City fan on the face of the planet. I own all the individual season DVDs, the full season set, and the special edition of the first movie. I’ve seen all the episodes at least a half dozen times, some of them probably closer to a dozen. I TiVo the edited versions that come on TV and watch them for background noise or before I go to bed. So, obviously, I’m thrilled that they’re making a second movie – I’m a fangirl, and fangirls love this kind of stuff.

The only better thing that could possibly get me more excited than I was before is the indication that they’re going to do something that we’ve never seen, and that’s exactly what we’re going to get, according to these pictures. We’ve got Sarah Jessica Parker, decked out in 80s vintage, looking a little bit like a poodle. But that’s ok, it was the 80s! Everyone looked like that. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the ladies’ period costumes look like, and I’m sure whatever storyline they have from back in the day is going to be fab.
