Shakira carries a quirky Givenchy tote

At first I was surprised to see Shakira carrying such a large bag. If memory serves correctly, she’s under five feet tall, correct? Or somewhere thereabouts, at least. She’s exceptionally petite, and the Givenchy Couture Padded Nightingale makes even starlets of average size look tiny. But she’s kind of owning it here, surprisingly.

Not only does the size look appropriate on her, but the navy color looks fantastic next to her army green blazer. Her skinny jeans and platform ankle boots also go a long way toward increasing her petite stature, and the entire thing looks easy and casual. I might change the wash of the jeans a bit, but the only thing I have a real problem with is her hair. I know that slightly odd hairstyles are often Shakira’s wont, but I’m just not a fan of blond quasi-dreads. On anyone. Ever. Even her.
