Anybody catch the Rachel Zoe Project last night? Clearly, I am addicted to I was absolutely dying as Rachel walked into Coco Chanel’s Parisian palace. I could not believe the class, sophistication and history that was found in every single nook and cranny of her place. Now, I hate to say it, but after watching that segment, I cringed when I saw Miley Cyrus carrying Chanel.
I understand that young, teeny bopping celebs like Miley have the means to afford Chanel, but at least attempt to look classy carrying it. But instead, she looks completely disheveled carrying her classic Coco Chanel bag. I can’t stand it. The bag itself is gorgeous. Classic and elegant yet a bit understated (minus the large double C’s of course) completely works. I don’t mind if young celebs carry Chanel, but at least make an effort to carry it the way it deserves to be carried!

Well I’m kinda biased, because I love Miley’s style, but I think the way she’s carrying it is fine. If she was carrying a Chanel Classic 2.55 bag, that’d be another story.

I personally like Miley’s style. I love the rock-n-roll attitude is played off very well here but I would agree that this Chanel bag should be carried in a different manner. Great style, Great bag just wrong combo.

Forget about the label for a minute and it’s an unstructured studded tote. And unstructured studded totes go with the disheveled rock and roll look Miley’s got going. I say it works

I thought it was a the classic Chanel flap bag or something along that line being discussed when I first read this. But looking at the pictures and the bag she does have, I don’t see what the big fuss is about. Style wise, it looks ok to me. It’s young and fun looking.
I think what boggles my mind more is that she has Chanel at such a young age.

I say that she could have put in a little more effort but look at the bag that she’s carrying it’s not a classic Chanel 2.55 bag it’s a hobo tote, it grants a little more leeway. but I definitely see what you mean, she could have carried it wearing a better outfit.

I agree with tracy that the unstructured studded tote goes perfectly with the disheveled rock look if you just forget about the chanel part.

The bag has a rocker vibe, and so does Miley- her fashion, at least. Her music is all pop and country. The bag looks perfect with her outfit.

At first I was scared that she was actually carrying classic Chanel. But then I saw the picture and I was relieved. Hate Miley Cyrus. She’s trashy. The bag does not really blow my mind or even incite any slightly excited feelings. Therefore it is okay.

Obviously she has never heard Coco Chanel’s famous quote about look at yourself in the mirror before you go out and remove one item. Miley has way way too many accessories going on there. Too many bracelets and necklaces. She should have removed the bracelets or necklaces because she looks like she is wearing her entire rocker girl jewelry.

I think the outfit looks fine with the bag after all it is a “tote” and not a flap. Not a Miley fan. but I think she looks cute!

you know how they only give a driver license to 16 yr olds? They should only give Chanel’s to those over 25, and also make them pass a “stylish enough” test as well!

i dont like the chanel over her, the design of the bag is meant to be used for a woman in older age than her, it’s not match her overall look at all..

thanks miley, for making me think that bag is hideous. on someone else i’d probably think it was not bad (not a big fan of the HUGE CCs or the studs to begin with) but on you, the bag just looks like trash.
