Tori Spelling carries a surprisingly awesome Balenciaga

Is that…can it be…a Balenciaga Flat-Brass First Bag? I think it has to be. It certainly looks like it from here.

And who is that carrying it? Is that…can it be…Tori Spelling? Since when does she carry such rare, sought-after, insider-y sorts of bags? How did she get cool enough to have one of these? Who told her about it?

For all of those that aren’t Balenciaga followers, this bag looks like it’s a rare gem – a first First, if you will. In the first season or two of the production of the brand’s iconic Motorcycle bags, they made this type with flattened studs instead of the raised ones that we see today, and the bag’s structure was a bit different. These bags go for well over retail on eBay and are a must-have for any Balenciaga collector. The brand’s popularity exploded after their introduction and changes in the bags’ looks were made repeatedly, but these are still perhaps the most sought-after bags from a brand that produces a collector’s item practically every season. I am seething with jealousy.

i am not a big Balenciaga fan, so i would not know the difference, all i can say is that bag doesnt really go with outfit… And her outfit is not too great either, those shoes are weird.

I like Tori Spelling and think she has good style, so I don’t think it’s weird that she’s carrying this bag. Everyone has commented about Tori’s outfit and said that it doesn’t match the bag…granted, I’m not really digging her outfit that much either, but I think the bag looks fine with it. Does your purse seriously have to match your outfit perfectly anyways?? I know I don’t do that…maybe if I was a millionare. I love, love Balenciaga and this bag is definitely gorgeous!
