Ugly Betty carries a FUGLY Fendi

I simply cannot get behind the ugly Fendi trend. I’m sorry, I’m not sorry. So, no, it’s not really a trend, but I’ve seen a few pretty hideous Fendi Spy bags lately. Here, America Ferrera, as Ugly Betty was spotted on set carrying a pretty fugly Fendi. I am sure there are plenty of ladies out there who would actually love to have this bag on her arm, but I can’t help but be reminded of an old couch. Do you know what I mean?
Again, I also realize that America’s character doesn’t always match and her outfits usually have a sense of over the top or miss-match, but this is quite a stretch. A black and white skirt/dress, a blue blazer, a multi-colored scarf, blue tights with red shoes and this Fendi – no thanks! I mean tell me, is it just me or is this bag too much?

Weird. The first picture has one (ugly) pair of shoes, while the rest have a different (ugly and bizarre) pair of shoes.
And that second pair? No wonder she’s leaning on the guy, since they don’t looked designed for standing, let alone walking.
I don’t actually mind the bag, but it does not go with anything else in the outfit.

The first pair are Crocs (believe it or not — I have some back ones just like them and they are beyond comfortable. I wear them with longish jeans). I am guessing she puts them on between takes, to give her some relief, while still providing the height for continuity and lighting. Just a guess.

Is the first photo croc high heals? They really look like Croc’s were made into high heels. Yuck

The second pair of heels look like her toes are curling up just like the witch in The Wizard of Oz when the house fell on her.
