Vanessa Minnillo kind of bores me. She is always pretty. She is always dressed nice. She is really just blah. I think we would be friends. No, I am not a big pile of blah. But she is not jumping in front of the spotlight at any given moment, she seems low key, and cool. And because of that we would be friends. And now I know we would have at least 2 things to talk about. First, how I love the show her boyfriend Nick Lachey produces on MTV, Taking the Stage (seriously, watch it, it is cool and I LOVE Mia’s voice and I wish I could dance). Second, her beautiful Rebecca Minkoff collection. Obviously I am a handbag aficionado and we have spotted Vanessa out with her Rebecca Minkoff bags a few times. While sliding out the backdoor after shopping at Alice + Olivia, Vanessa Minnillo looked bashful toting her Rebecca Minkoff Matinee.
Rebecca Minkoff has taken the handbag world by storm, creating a celebrity following whose list could fill a hot night spot. The bags are named appropriately each season, like the Matinee which is perfect for lunch, or the ever popular Morning After which can go from night until morning.

God, some of the posts on here are HILARIOUS. More to love! The RM Matinee has never really drawn me but seeing the slouch potential in this pick has me rethinking this bag!

I love RM! She is one of my favorite designers! I’ve never really like the matinee, but hey, it’s growing on me! RM’s Morning after is more my style though! More RM posts please!!! :)

RM bags look nice sometimes, but the leather leaves so much to be desired. Ugh.

I love my Matinee! I’m actually using my light gray one today. It’s so comfortable and a great subtle bag.

Always loved the RM Matinee, (I’ve got the wine one with the old style hardware and tassels) UNTIL I saw this version of it- it does just look blah- no personality, no punch at all…

I don’t know if the word “matinee” is good for handbags that look good for evenings and for a night out…

The Matinee is one of the few RMs I haven’t tried. She sure makes that one look fabulous though!
