Which star has the best bag collection?

This is a question that crosses my mind almost every day – if we could look in to the probably massive closets of the celebrities that we talk about on this website, what would we see? Who would be borrowing bags from their stylist that they have to give back later, and who would have actually amassed a staggering collection of drool-worthy bags that any of us would be excited to borrow from?
There are, of course, the obvious favorites – Victoria Beckham and her out-of-this-world collection of Hermes Birkins of every shape and size, Kimora Lee Simmons and the largest private collection of Louis Vuitton in the world. But what if your style is a little more varied or you like smaller brands? What bag style icon do you turn to then? My personal pick would be Nicole Richie and her collection of Balenciaga, which is rumored to be extensive, in addition to her other slouchy, casual picks. What I wouldn’t do to be able to borrow a few of her old bags, particularly some of the popular colors from a few years ago. But that’s just me – which celeb has the most enviable closet for you?

I’m totally with you on Nicole Richie. Love her collection. Have you noticed that Dakota Fanning is becoming quite the Balenciaga fan as well?

I think Nicky Hilton has a great collection (can’t say the same for her sister) and Lauren Conrad always carries nice classic bags.

Up until a couple years ago, I’d have to say Lindsay Lohan. I was always obsessed with her bags, but ever since her crazy phase, I’ve been turned off by her. I think one to watch out for is Ashley Tisdale. Her collection is varied and has lots of outstanding pieces, but she really flies under the radar bc her star status hasn’t reached its potential yet.
And I agree with D. Lauren Conrad always has a beautiful bag on her arm.

I think that Beyonce may have a lot of nice designer bags…She just rented an apartment for her bags!!! But I like who ever is carrying my favorite bag with a few exceptions like Heidi Montag…

I think Leighton Meester has a great handbag collection. She has a lot of really cool and utterly beautiful bags, such as the Chloé Sally bag (in that gorgeous purple color), the Rebecca Minkoff Nikki bag and the Proenza Schouler PS1 bag. Those are to die for! She also has an amazing Jimmy Choo bag with fringes, a gorgeous black Dior Lady Dior bag and a cool Temperley London bag. I want to raid her handbag closet.
I also really like Victoria Beckham’s bag, but I strongly dislike her. She is way to skinny for her own good.

Eva Longoria-Parker, Rachel Bilson and Kate Bosworth would be my top picks. All three always have unique taste. Each have high end collections mixed with more attainable picks. I love looking to all three for inspiration to select bags for my own collection.

I agree Ingrid! I LOVE Ashley Tisdale’s Prada! She has an awesome collection from what I’ve seen. Also Hilary Duff has an amazing collection. Lauren Conrad has some amazing Chanel bags. I am completely in love w/ her Medallion Tote.

I read yesterday that Victoria Beckham owns $3million worth of Hermes bags. That’s not to mention her others she’s sometimes seen with. Although I’m not sure of her style, I do love her bags.

That’s a tough question, because many celebs carry great bags, but I think I would have to say Rachel Zoe. I’m not if she quite counts as a celeb, because she doesn’t act or anything, but I love her style and she always carries beautiful bags.

Eva Longoria-Parker carries great bags. So does Jennifer Aniston, though she hardly ever changes bags and mostly carries black or white. She carries the same black tote forever and then buys a new black tote. However, I always love those black totes, lol! Rihanna carries great bags too, as does Angelina Jolie. My fave, though, is Reese Witherspoon. I almost always love and envy what she’s carrying. Katherine Heigl has also carried some bags I’ve drooled over. One more…Katie Holmes. She is often carrying something I find myself feverishly looking up online later.

VB is my fashion icon and I drool over every Hermes bag she carries. You know you all do too!! She is fearless and puts it out there! Taking risks is what fashion is about and she does it all the time … even by carrying Hermes. I mean, who carries a white Kelly that size? I know it can get a spa treatment and come back looking brand new, but it’s just asking to get marked up! That is risk taking!! And she is just fabulous!!

My favorites are: Rachel Bilson (She got robbed recently :(… imagine all of her vintage Chanel, gone!), Victoria Beckham (I’m not a big fan of Hermes but VC is such an icon), Nicole Ritchie, and Lindsay Lohan ( I cannot stand the girl but she’s got really cute bags and clothes.)

I think VB has the best bag collection, its unanimous… but I LOVE Hilary Duff’s bag collection a whole lot more. :) and in third place – rachel bilson!

To me, Jessica Alba is the number ONE. She always has fabulous bags. She’s more than an addict.lol
