Whitney Port carries TopShop tote

Folks, this bag gave me absolute fits – I couldn’t figure out what in the world it could be. First, Megs suggested that it was probably Linea Pelle since they feature a lot of fringe in their most recent line. But it wasn’t, I eliminated all of the possibilities. Then some other fashion sites suggested that it might be a JJ Winters bag, but none of them looked anything like what Whitney Port had been seen carrying so often.

But it was finally one of our forum members, Juicy, who clued us in to the fact that this isn’t a designer bag at all – it’s a faux leather fringe tote from British retailer TopShop. They recently opened their first stateside store in New York City to much press and praise, and it looks like Whitney was one of the folks lucky enough to scoop up one of these now sold-out totes. I hear they show up on eBay every now and then, for those looking to still snag one.
