Whitney Port was already a bit of a hipster when she was on The Hills, and now that she has moved to New York City and done a full season of The City, she has totally finished her transformation. Her clothes don’t fit, they don’t match, they don’t look like they were made in this decade. And that’s the point. And I kind of like her better for it.
She’s so tall and pretty that she could have easily been another bland blonde a la Lauren Conrad, but instead she’s kind of odd and quirky and, as a result, fairly relatable. And even if she wears crazy stuff, she always keeps it fabulous in the handbag department, as she does with the python tote she’s carrying here. It’s not the same python tote that we saw her carrying recently, and we’re having a hard time placing this one. Any ideas?

Whitney really has become a full-fledged NYC hipster and I’m loving it! I also really like the fact that Whitney has her own personal style. She’s gorgeous and has a great body, so she looks good in pretty much everything. I’m really not sure as to what bag she’s carrying, but as always, it’s gorgeous! Whitney has great taste!

Gorgeous python bag but I hate it when bra straps and the insides of pockets show.

She has legs that go for miles, and definitely can pull off outfits like that…but, I still don’t like her style. : (

Whit needs a stylist, or a new one if she already has one. It always amazes me that people can be so good at what they do professionally but not so in their personal lives.

her shoes, her bra sticking out in one of the pics- yuck! she has pretty face but her styling needs help…. I think DVF should not hire interns that cannot dress!

She’s pretty, but I could never do short shorts in public, ever. But that’s just ol’ conservative, thunder-thighed me.

I love the title to this post! hahaha
Whitney usually looks good or at the very least decent, but I do wish she would be a bit less hipster. Maybe it’s the top that bothers me…

When she lived in LA she still dressed quirky but much more LA. Now she’s definitely going for the NY hipster look. I think it’s great that she’s willing to take fashion risks. The python tote is fashion-y, but also keep with the rock and roll theme.

I really like Whitney too… she definitely does her only thing regardless of what everyone else does and I think that it’s very refreshing. I wouldn’t wear her look per se but I LOVE LOVE LOVE her belt and earrings!!!

All that potential — wasted. What a shame.
