2010 Golden Globes: Anna Paquin glistens with Stella McCartney

This is by far one of my favorite gowns that I came across during the 2010 Golden Globe Award Show. Anna Paquin looked absolutely breathtaking in her gold Stella McCartney gown. I don’t know what I noticed first, the bright and bold color or the plunging neckline. I am totally fine with both of these jaw-dropping looks, but her shoes, oh my, those have got to go.
Seriously, the shoes are awful. There are so many more elegant shoes out there to choose from, I can’t imagine why she chose these. At least her fiance and True Blood co-star, Stephen Moyer kept things simple and sleek with his black tux, dress shirt and shoes by Burberry. But seriously, this power couple does look great. Now if I could just get the image of Anna’s shoes out of my head. Sigh.

Her date looked better than she did. That dress was awful and the print on it was ugly. Then she really messed it up with shoes that would have gone better with a pair of jeans.
