Kimora Lee Simmons totes a bubblegum Birkin

I can stomach a great deal of trashy television, and most of it with great job, but Kimora Lee Simmons’ show, Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane is one of the few programs out there that still makes me a little nauseous. I don’t know exactlywhat makes me detest the program so thoroughly while still enjoying, say, Toddlers & Tiaras, but I find it completely grating and obnoxious.

Now that Kimora’s out of a job as head of clothing line Baby Phat, I guess she will unfortunately be spending more time on the show. Personally, I wish she’d just take her bubblegum pink ostrich Hermes Birkin and disappear from pop culture. Self-importance gets on my last nerve, and more than anything else, that seems to be the vibe that Kimora has. I hope her daughters learn some humility from somewhere, but unfortunately, it likely won’t be from her.

Oh, my goodness, I love Kimora. She’s loud, obnoxious, and over the top and makes no apologies for it. Besides, her show is only about 6 episodes.
She still has her lines KLS, Fabulosity, and Kouture by Kimora which are all very successful. She also still does Hello, Kitty.
Love the pink Hermes. Doesn’t Victoria Beckham have one just like it?

I remember 2 years ago Kimora’s show was my guilty pleasure. She can be really funny and very entertaining. And she can lough about herself and is sometimes even open for criticism. E.g. she does admit that she was not popular in school.
I did not like it that she included her daughters in the show though (they are very cute. But they should not be on TV at that age).
