Leighton Meester carries Louis Vuitton on the set of Gossip Girl

It’s hard to pick a favorite Blair Waldorf outfit. After all, Gossip Girl‘s costumers do a fantastic job of putting Leighton Meester in interesting, fun things in nearly every episode. If I had to pick a recent favorite, though, it would be this multi-material, multi-pattern outfit that Blair paired with a Louis Vuitton Alma Bag from Fall 2009.

Her differently patterned Tibi skirt and jacket and printed Milly shirt somehow manage to work together harmoniously, which is likely aided by the fact that they all come from a neutral color palette. The sold-colored bag and Balenciaga shoes also help make the outfit a winner, along with her simple tights. Also, could these pictures be an indication that she and Chuck will soon be on friendly terms?

I love Blair’s and Serena’s outfits on Gossip Girl! This one though must be one of my favourites!!! I adore the skirt – I’m very into mini skirts these days – and the jacket she’s wearing. The bag is just amazing! I just hope we saw more LV items on GG…

Most of the time, the Gossip Girl outfits are overstyled and come off as trying to hard.
This is one of the rare occasions that Blair actually looks like the preppy chic woman that she is supposed to be.
Love that bag.

An odd thought struck me looking at these- she kinda looks like Eliza Dushku. Back when she was even more gorgeous from before the plastic surgery. Anyway, love the outfit except for the skirt. It’s just a smidge too short and the color is off.
