Blake Lively wears Chanel Haute Couture to the “Green Lantern” premiere

Karl Lagerfeld seems to go through new muses like most people go through toilet paper, but that doesn’t mean that it wouldn’t be nice to be his golden girl for a moment or two. As we’ve all figured out by now, Blake Lively is his current favorite person on the face of the planet, which means that she gets decked head to toe in Chanel Haute Couture for every public event that she attends. And I mean literally head to toe – that camellia clip in Blake’s hair looks to be Chanel as well.

This particular event happened to be the premiere of her move The Green Lantern, which is Lively’s most prominent film role to date. And for a non-fashion event, this particular look was probably a bold choice, but I always appreciate stars who are willing to wear more difficult couture looks when it’s likely to get them nothing but criticism from the mainstream press. So while this isn’t my favorite look of all time, I find its inclusion on the red carpet of a comic book movie pleasant nonetheless.

Too dressy. Too bridal. Chanel has plenty of couture looks that would have been more appropriate for the red carpet. I actually like the dress. For this particular premiere, it would have been better for the sheer skirt to have been gone. And, then drop the top a few inches.

I think she looks stunningg ! Like some beautiful goddess, and her hair is so pretty ! Although it’s true tht this look might not have been the most appropriate for the green lantern premiere… Blake still wears her Chanel so elegantly

I love the dress. It is just not the right outfit for the premiere of a comic book movie.

It has a little bit of a slutty Sound of Music curtain look to it, but- whatever. Blake still looks good. I absolutely love her hair here and she looks really happy.

Great look but not to a Green Lantern premiere. May be to Kids Choice awards or something like that. Good youthful look with Chanel pedegree. Shame she isnt carrying a clutch to finish the look. A clutch from the Muse & Hebe Range by Catwalk Exotique would have been ideal.

I agree…The outfit the dress was great, but not for Green Lantern premiere…I think could be for Oscar’s, it will better.
