Kourtney Kardashian looks lovely with baby and Birkin

Pop culture seems to be in a bit of a Kardashian lull right now. Well, at least when it comes to the sisters not named Kim – we all know that she just got engaged to enormous boyfriend Kris Humphries, a relationship that I knew would last forever as soon as I saw that he spelled his first name with a K. But what of Khloe and Kourtney? Maybe I just feel like I haven’t heard about them in a while because I don’t have cable anymore, but seeing these pictures of Kourtney Kardashian makes me a tad nostalgic.

Look at little Mason! His douchebag of a father already has him dressed up in a Ferrari track suit jacket, but hopefully Kourtney will be able to ensure that the baby doesn’t follow in all of his footsteps. If all else fails, she’ll still have that giant orange Hermes Birkin to keep her company, and that’s more than I can say for most women.

Oh, Jeez! The baby looks just like his dad. The Birkin’s gorgeous, though!

I know the Birkin is a classic bag, however I becoming less enamored with it. It seems to me that everyone has one. I don’t particularly care for the Kardashians – while it is well within their right to purchase whatever they want, I don’t like the message they present and what they stand for. They are not an asset to society by any means and are very flashy (and I am not a fan of conspicuous spending). I think all of them are very trashy and lack any sort of class. I would really like to see them use their notoriety in volunteering and charity projects, which I have yet to see. It is very shameful that the general public encourages the Kardashian “brand” instead of people who frequently make contributions to charity, whether it a financial contribution or a time contribution.
