With Nicky Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, it’s like 2005 all over again

I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I spied these paparazzi photos of Nicky Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, out together for a night on the town. It seemed as though I had traveled back in time at least five or six years, back to when I was in college and I used to read Perez Hilton on my laptop during my classes to keep up with the quasi-celebrities that had taken over pop culture at the time.

Back then, I was always on Team Lindsay. I’m still a big fan of Mean Girls and I liked her better than the others because she seemed like the most talented of the group. I also preferred Nicky to Paris, if I were asked to pick a Hilton. She’s the quieter, more reasonable, less flashy sister. She also has the most Balenciaga City Bags in her collection, which are a personal favorite of mine and something that she seems to reach for over and over, just like in these photos. And now it’s 2011, and LiLo is out of jail and Nicky is still the more awesome Hilton and they’re at it again. I wonder if we’ll be looking at paparazzi photos of them when they’re 40?

    I actually liked Rachel McAdams character in the movie. Lindsay was a great actress. I hope that she gets her act together and not squander her talent.
    Nicky was also my favorite Hilton because she pretty much lives her life out of the spotlight. Not real sure what she does for a living, but I like her.

    Same here -LiLo was the most talented, by far! I, too, hope she gets her act together. Been a fan of Nicky for a while too. ‘Seems’ down to earth. Loved her as a brunette along about 2004 & I’ll never forget a pap shot of her carrying a black Gucci Boston bag with the hot pink Gs. I was lusting after that bag for months & after seeing a pic of her with that bag & that beautiful hair, she was my new girl crush! LOL!

    I preferred Nicky to Paris too, and btw is that a Balenciaga leather jacket LiLo’s wearing? Wow I guess Lindsay takes no time transitioning from prison jumpsuits to luxury leather wear!

    my issue is not with people in this alrcite making fun of lindsay lohan specifically. im not claiming she is special and should somehow be exempt from any negative comments. my issue is when people drag addiction into it, and call people they do not know a crack whore’. i have a problem when people are blamed for their addictions (and addiction related struggles), and looked down upon for it.if someone called lindsay (or any other celebrity) fat, or ugly, or poorly dressed, or untalented, i would not have made a responding comment, whether i agreed or disagreed. because they are entitled to their opinion on such matters. but i think its a different situation when we talk shit about someone for their personal struggles and call them things like bedraggled crack whore’ and basically assume that they are trash.it is one thing to dislike a celebrity or find them untalented. it is another thing entirely to treat addiction like it is a choice to be blamed for instead of a true illness.lindsay lohan deserves no less respect than any other human being on this planet, and her talent (or lack there of), struggles with drugs, sexuality, etc do NOT change the fact that she is an ill person deserving the same basic respect as the late king of pop’. 3
