Carrie Fisher goes to the airport with her Frenchie and her PS1

When I log in to our photo service to see what the paparazzi has come up with on any given day, I never know what I’m going to find. Sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s all British reality TV famewhores, but usually it’s somewhere in between. Last night, though, I logged in to start the process for today’s post, and I found perhaps my favorite set of photos ever. They include entertainment legend and all-around awesome person Carrie Fisher, a big ol’ French bulldog and a purple Proenza Schouler PS1. Based on these photos, Carrie Fisher might be my spirit animal.

If you’re not familiar with Fisher’s work beyond Princess Leia, BUY HER BOOKS. Postcards from the Edge, Wishful Drinking, they’re all pretty hilarious. She’s led a fascinating, at times totally screwed up life and she’s extremely frank about all of it. On top of that, she has an adorable Frenchie (look at those ears!) and good taste in handbags, so I’m not sure exactly how she’s not the most beloved woman in America. If I were president, she would be.
