Christina Hendricks’ new bag costs HOW MUCH?
A couple of days ago, I again lamented Christina Hendricks‘s ownership of a pair of particularly unfortunate wide-legged pink trousers. She has a beautiful shape, as we all know, and they didn’t do anything but make her look wide and heavy. I prescribed a pair of cigarette pants to fix the problem, and just like that, Ms. Hendricks popped up in a pair to prove me right. She looks at least 20 pounds lighter here than she did just a few days ago, all because of a pair of well-cut pants.
The more interesting thing about this set of photos, though, is Christina’s alligator Farbod Barsum Isabella Bag, which is apparently one-of-a-kind. The brand reports that if it were sold at retail, the price would be $23,980. Yep, you read that correctly: for the price of a pieced alligator bag that looks like it’s meant to carry a bowling ball, you could be well on your way to a crocodile Hermes Birkin. I’m betting that Hendricks didn’t buy this bag, though, and I’d also bet that the price tag is for publicity purposes (I was alerted to it by a press release, of course) – if it’s one-of-a-kind and it already has a home, there’s no way for us to verify. Clever, but not clever enough.
