Whitney Port totes an especially slouchy Givenchy
I always forget that somewhere out there, usually somewhere in Los Angeles, Whitney Port is still a thing. She shows at New York Fashion Week now, which is a laudable achievement, even if her line doesn’t seem to have caught on quite as well as Nicole Richie’s. Hey, there’s always next season, and maybe then the paparazzi will follow her even more than they do now. This is another symptom of the summer gossip doldrums – Whitney Port going to the grocery store attracts the attention of bored photographers in a city full of celebrities. Even she seems a bit surprised and dismayed by the whole thing.
Still, though, she’s someone we haven’t talked about in a while, and she’s carrying something interesting – a Givenchy Antigona Tote in perforated black leather. I’m surprised to see the Antigona Tote slouch so much because the original satchel version is incredibly structured, but hey, maybe that’s why the brand introduced this version. Gotta sell bags to the slouch-lovers too!
