Her latest bag was a bit of a head-scratcher since its not from a brand that’s a household name, but I figured it out – it’s the November XVIII Ruffle Bag. I question the marketing savvy of using Roman numerals to name a new handbag brand (or brand of anything, for that matter), since most people in her American audience have enough problems with the metric system, let alone figuring how to read (or pronounce) a Roman number. Then again, why play to the lowest common denominator? The bag that Beyonce here is rather attractive, and that should sell itself.

Beyonce’s sartorial choices are (for better or for worse) unlike any other star out there, and it seems as though Balenciaga would be the perfect choice to go with a lot of them. The bags come in every color, size, and shape imaginable, and can blend in with outfits ranging from ladylike to punk (can you tell I’m a big fan Balenciaga fan?), so they’re a great choice for someone with a wide-ranging wardrobe and diverse stylistic tastes. If that’s not our girl Bey, I don’t know what is. Welcome to the Balenciaga fan club, honey.

Beyonce attended, performed and walked away with SIX Grammys. SIX! This number is now the new record for all time high a female performer took home in one evening. Good for her!!!

This lovely lady wore a form fitting Stephane Rolland dress as she walked the red carpet. Beyonce finished her look with Casadei shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Beyonce is pictured here leaving dinner at Nello’s in NYC and per usual, she looks great. Her dress is simple yet desirable and all of her accessories work well together. Yet, I can’t stand that I don’t know the bag she is carrying. I truly hope that one of you out there has seen this before so we can get a little more information on it.

One more question, what’s with the sunglasses? It is clearly pitch black out so the only thing I can think is that the glasses help shield her eyes from the countless flashes that are going off whenever she steps outside of her house. Oh to be Beyonce.

And that’s why she’s one of the only celebrities that we see carrying Bracher Emden with regularity. Their bags are often much more intricate than those that are similarly priced, and sequins, beads, and rhinestones often all play a part in their design. Here, Beyonce is carrying the Bracher Emden Swan Bag, which is new for Fall/Winter ‘09 and has not yet been released to the public in the beige/silver color that we see here. It’s also available in black and tan.

Not only is Beyonce the source of a number of ridiculously listenable songs, but she also carries many lust-worthy bags, such as the Louis Vuitton Kalahari that she’s toting here. And she’s toting it in quite an odd manner, to say the least. Listen, B, if that bag is too heavy or annoying for you, I’d be happy to relieve you of it.
