So, what’s the deal, are Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez officially broken up or not? Perhaps they are on a break? Did you know that Alex Rodriguez has not one but two painting of him as a centaur in his bedroom? Is that not the most hilariously wonderful thing you’ve ever heard? Well color me surprised. Kate Hudson is one of the last people I would expect to see embrace fashion’s current industrial trends, yet here she is dong just that. It’s not that I feel this way because I don’t think Kate follows fashion – I do. But her style has always seemed so feminine/bohemian to me, and industrial is the antithesis of those things.

I’m a fan of Kate Hudson. I loved her in Almost Famous, but I love her easygoing, bohemian style even more.
That’s why I was pretty surprised to see Kate in this picture. Her outfit is pretty normal, to say the least. Leggings, a sleeveless sweater, and a pair of Havaianas sandals. Over at Purse Blog I had the chance to share an interview with uber popular LA designer, CC Skye. Whether you are familiar with her designs or not, the more you look around the more you will be able to spot her handbags and/or accessories. Is it just me, or does Kate Hudson not look like Kate Hudson from the side? Might she look a little like Mariska Hargitay? Or am I just seeing things? I think it’s in the jawline. Or maybe it’s because she’s not as incredibly blond here as she normally seems. Either way, I didn’t recognize her in this first picture here, and believe me, I know who she is.
