Ay, Salmita. Looking gorgeous as always. In my opinion, Salma Hayek has one of the most enviable bodies in all of Hollywood, and I’m sure that her husband Francois-Henri Pinault would agree with me. He’s a French billionaire and owner of many and various companies and business ventures, including fashion conglomerate PPR.
PPR owns a controlling share in Alexander McQueen, among other houses, and while I was getting ready to watch the 2010 Oscars, I could help but wonder if any stars would be allowed to wear one [...]

Anna Paquin is quickly learning how to constantly look stunning on the red carpet. The 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards was no exception.
Anna walked the red carpet with her man, Stephen Moyer and they both looked amazing. I knew as soon as I saw the clutch she was carrying who it was by. However, upon further information, I was really happy to hear that both her clutch and dress were Alexander McQueen creations. Anna didn’t seem to mind the plunging neckline of her short dress and the clutch matched [...]

I admit, I’m too young to have lived during the birth of the “supermodel” concept, but I’m still a big fan of Elle Macpherson. She has such a glamourous look that transcends the passage of time to my innocent, internet-trolling eyes. Even when traveling, she controls that glamour and probably causes the ogling of countless men as she finds her way to her seat.
Here she is, looking effortlessly fab with a long navy coat that’s both slightly reflective and just a tad hairy. In the words of one of our [...]

After some turbulent years with the press, Naomi Campbell showed her softer side during NYC Fashion Week. The model called on her famous friends to help put together the Fashion For Relief Haiti Benefit in order to raise money for the tragedy stricken Haiti. Celebs were adorned with gowns from designers like Carolina Herrera, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana and Ralph Lauren. The great thing is that the gowns worn will be auctioned off starting March 15th over on one of our favorite sites, Net-a-Porter. All proceeds will benefit CARE, [...]

Since Alexander McQueen’s tragic suicide last week, the fashion world has pulled together to honor him in a variety of ways during the semiannual New York Fashion Week festivities. Perhaps most pointed was the display of his clothes on a variety of the world’s most famous supermodels (and one very fashionable heiress) at Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief charity show, benefitting Haitian earthquake victims.
Campbell, Helena Christensen, Heidi Mount, Natasha Poly, Karen Elson, Angela Lindvall and Sasha Pivovarova wore looks from McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection, entitled Plato’s Atlantis. McQueen’s [...]

I bet last night’s 2010 Golden Globes Award Show was a bit of a disaster for stylists. Imaging waking up in the morning and realizing it is going to be a slightly rainy awards show day. I’m neither a stylist or a celeb and that thought made me cringe. Yet, plenty of celebs made the best of it.
Take a look at Cameron Diaz. Cameron wore a sexy red gown by Alexander McQueen along with a yellow gold bracelet by Van Cleef and Arpels. I love how she rounded out [...]

It takes a certain kind of woman to carry off an Alexander McQueen shoe. McQueen makes things that are odd, unexpected and avant garde, and on most starlets, things like that would just look woefully out of place. Luckily for all of us, though, Rihanna is one of the few people that I can think of that would do the weirdly wonderful Alexander McQueen Dogtooth Boot any sort of fashion justice.
More than any legitimately famous person right now, Rihanna seems to constantly take risks and try to [...]

Well who would have thought? Audrina Patridge isn’t exactly known for her edgy fashion sense or love of classy designers, but she managed to make a great choice of clutch to wear to the premier of her cheesy new flick, Sorority Row. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, as the saying goes.
The clutch she chose is the Alexander McQueen Squeeze It Clutch. The plain black patent version isn’t my favorite of the many iterations that are available in this shape, but as far as [...]

Well color me surprised. Kate Hudson is one of the last people I would expect to see embrace fashion’s current industrial trends, yet here she is dong just that. It’s not that I feel this way because I don’t think Kate follows fashion – I do. But her style has always seemed so feminine/bohemian to me, and industrial is the antithesis of those things.
However, here we see her carrying a Alexander McQueen Faithful Tote, a bag that we talked about previously on PurseBlog as one of [...]

It’s not every day that I look at a celebrity carrying a bag and go, “Oh, of course she’s carrying that. It makes perfect sense.” But Kelly Osbourne carrying the Alexander McQueen Faithful Tote elicited exactly that reaction from me, and probably from you guys too. I can’t say the same for her recent addition to Dancing with the Stars‘ new season, though – I wonder if she’ll be any good.
But who better to wear one of the avant garde British designer’s key bags of the season [...]

31 Jul 2009
I know you all like seeing the latest of Lady Gaga’s getups. Sure, some are interesting and awesome, and some are just plain weird. I’m really just beginning to think that she has a bit of an animal fetish, kind of like Katy Perry continually proclaims to be obsessed with fruit.
Gaga’s worn a pink Muppet skirt, a Kermit shirt and matching hair bow, and now she’s got bunny ears. Other than that, I’d say her Alexander McQueen dress is much more conservative than the bulk of her outfits. And [...]
