While many people don’t have work today due to the Martin Luther King Holiday, we had to spend some time covering last night’s 2010 Golden Globes Award Show held in Hollywood, California.

When I think of Bottega Veneta, the average customer that I picture is not Ashlee Simpson. Believe it or not, that’s not meant to be a dig at either side – Ashlee’s stye is very young and hip, and Bottega’s designs tend to be more mature and staid. That doesn’t mean that either side is wrong (in fact, I think that Ashlee’s personal style tends to be one of her best attributes), but it does mean these pictures surprised me a bit.

While home over Thanksgiving, the entire family went to see the new football movie, The Blind Side. If you haven’t seen it already, I would. You don’t have to be a football fan to enjoy the movie; there are several great messages portrayed throughout this blockbuster. Country singing star, Tim McGraw plays Sandra Bullock’s husband in the movie.

Paula Patton looked stunning in her Bottega Veneta Lilac Elephant Satin Dress which she wore to the premiere of “Precious” in Los Angeles. She paired Jimmy Choo Revere Shoes with her dress. Also, Patton shortened her dress for a mini effect.
The same dress was worn by Julie Benz to the The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day premiere. Benz paired the dress with thigh-high boots.
Honestly people, I don’t know which is more gorgeous, Jennifer Connelly or the clutch she is carrying. We haven’t covered Jennifer before, but I am so glad we are. It was refreshing to see pictures of her. Come to think of it, this is a good day. First Alicia Silverstone and now Jennifer Connelly – awesome!

Another day, another celebrity with a Bottega Veneta Knot Clutch. No wonder Bottega makes so many different kinds of them – they’re obviously having no problem convincing people that they’re a smart wardrobe addition.

It’s rare these days that we see an image of Sarah Jessica Parker that’s not straight from the set of Sex and the City, but these have a decidedly non-SATC feel, don’t you think?
