These pictures are a perfect example of how accessories change an outfit – her oversized sunglasses, leather motorcycle jacket, thigh-high boots, and Louis Vuitton luggage, both in Monogram and Damier Graphite. If it wasn’t for all those things, then her outfit would be boring and regular. It’s the accessories that elevate the look…oh, and that is a Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Tote that I see? I think it is.

Here we see the two as they head to the Swarovki at the Red Dress Collection during Fashion Week. If you look closely you will see that some of the pictures have Kim in her short black dress while others she has the gown she wore on the red carpet at this event, Notte by Marchesa. She looks fabulous and it is always great to see celebs give their time towards a good cause.

Once the show was over Kim and Reggie had a lovely dinner at the Waverly Inn. I wonder if they had any conversations about the swirling marriage rumors. What do you think? Will Kim and Reggie get engaged anytime soon?

It is no surprise that she looks absolutely flawless as she walked the red carpet before co-hosting the 2010 Leather and Laces Party in South Beach. Along with Kim, Holly Madison and Rosleyn Sanchez hosted the party at the Art Deco Paris Theatre. Kim wore a gorgeous curve hugging short dress, carried a Christian Louboutin clutch and Christian Louboutin pumps. Totally loving her hair pulled back in that super tight and sleek pony tail.

So, I was not shocked at all to see Kim Kardashian all over the television. Like so many others, Kim was in Miami for the Super Bowl, but Kim was there to support a player too. Boyfriend, Reggie Bush, a New Orleans Saint received tons of attention both on and off the field. Kim and Reggie were spotted shopping in Miami Beach.

The couple stopped at a few boutiques where Reggie tried on formal wear. They also stopped into Curve and The Webster before grabbing sushi. The entire time, Kim had her coveted Hermes Birkin by her side.

I didn’t get a look at what handbag she was carrying last night, but she’s been carrying her big, black Hermes Birkin an awful lot lately. In these pictures, she’s wearing it two different ways – first, with an all-black evening outfit that I love (because it’s all black, duh, of course I love it) and second, with jeans and a fun leopard scarf (is it the Louis Vuitton Steven Sprouse Leopard Scarf?) while she gets a pedicure. Maybe she was carrying her Birkin last night – black leather and gold hardware would have matched the Saints’ uniforms, after all.

In reality, though, that probably only says good things about Stella McCartney’s most recent set of animal-friendly bags. Usually, ethical fashion is stereotyped as neo-hippie and cheap-looking, but the fact that these bags are hot enough to become widely carried by celebs that have never made any overtures about political consciousness only means that environmentally friendly fashion is one step closer to mass-market acceptance. Whether or not you use animal products or eat meat, that’s still a pretty cool thing.

Here we have Kim Kardashian doing what she became known for, shopping. She was spotted in Beverly Hills doing some Christmas shopping. I was initially wondering if Kim was shopping for herself or her nephew, Koutney Kardashian’s brand new son. Turns out, Kim carried one of her favorite handbags, a black Hermes Birkin as she picked up a pair of Christian Louboutin boots. I don’t know which I like more, her handbag or her boots. What would you pick?

Here, Kim was snapped picking out the next polish color she’d be sporting. My guess is that she got both a mani and a pedi which I could really use right around now. I don’t get my nails done very often, but after each time I do, I ask myself why I don’t make it a more frequent treat. Well, while I am sure Kim takes care of her nails more than I do, Kim also carries a better bag than I would to the salon; a black Hermes Birkin. Once again, Kim captures a great way to look casually chic.

Now, back to the Kardashian at hand. This is what I’d call, quite simply, a superb travel outfit. But it’s the accessories, the YSL Y Platform Booties and Givenchy Large Elschia Sac, which take the outfit from plain traveler to supremely stylish jetsetter. Oh, and she’s wearing sunglasses inside. I almost forgot that bit.

They say that it’s best to travel in comfortable basics; that’s what Juicy tracksuits were made for, right? Well, clearly Kim does not belong to this camp, and I respect her for elevating the general airport fashion, which is sadly usually at a low level. With good reason, though, with good reason. But Kim’s basics are not without practicality: her Givenchy bag is a glam version of a tote, and her YSL booties- well, I suppose they’re not too difficult to take off for security.
