Either Blair Waldorf is going to be in a piss-poor mood for the first couple episodes of Gossip Girl’s fourth season or the lovely Leighton Meester has come down with an incurable case of the blahs. I’m not sure which one it is, but Meester seems rather peeved on the show’s Paris sets lately. Maybe she’s like me – I get sick of travelling after a week and want to go home.
Absent any information about Leighton’s current mood, let’s talk about her outfit. She’s carrying a Lanvin Mini Pop Bag [...]

I wish that we got to see Katy Perry act like herself more often. It’s a hard game out there for up-and-coming pop stars and Perry seems to feel the need to seek attention constantly; too bad she doesn’t do it as artfully (or as entertainingly, depending on how you look at it) as Lady Gaga.
Her songs are relentlessly catchy (if a little brainless) and she’s a beautiful girl – she doesn’t need to employ her usual antics to be interesting. I mean, she’s engaged to Russel Brand, for [...]

My oh my. I really don’t have much to say about the hideous outfit Agyness Deyn is sporting here. Look, I am no model, nor will I ever pretend to be, but at least I know a little something about fashion. And this look my friends, it is a big fashion no-no. I honestly don’t know what Agyness was thinking when she paired her long dress with a jean jacket and army boots (presumably Doc Martens).
There was only one thing Agyness did right when planning (and I use that [...]

Whitney Port is one of those women who really can wear just about anything. She’s tall, lean and confident. It is as if Whitney is just as comfortable being all done up as she is in a pair of boyfriend jeans and a tank top.
She was recently spotted in NYC mixing two styles in a way that resulted in perfect harmony. If you are anything like me, the first impression you had when looking at these images was how pretty Whitney looks. But upon a closer inspection you’ll notice [...]

I adore Selma Blair, if only for her involvement in one of the best bad movies of all time: Cruel Intentions. The Dangerous Liaisons re-make has all that’s necessary for skanky, campy fun: teenage drug use, de-virginizing, step-sibling sexual innuendo, a lesbian kiss between two straight girls. The list goes on. It’s my go-to DVD on lazy Sunday afternoons or rainy evenings, and I’ve seen it far more times than I care to admit.
Ms. Blair has a history of choosing interesting or fun projects, but no matter what else [...]

Ok, so, two things: normally I love Leighton Meester, not only because she’s on Gossip Girl, but also because she has a quirky sense of style and isn’t afraid to take risks. Also, as everyone know, I’m a huge Marc Jacobs fangirl, even when he get a little weird.
Despite those things, however, I cannot get behind the combination of Leighton and Marc that went on at last night’s 2010 Costume Institute Gala. Not only is the dress both beaded and flowered (in the most negative senses of both [...]

I love it when one of my favorite runway looks makes the jump to the red carpet on one of my favorite fashionistas. Even though I’ll never be able to wear most of the stuff that goes down the catwalk, I enjoy watching other wear the stuff that really stood out in its debut. Obviously, I was thrilled to see Nicole Richie wearing this glimmering, gorgeous silver dress from Marc Jacobs’s most recent collection.
Not only is the look suitably glamorous for the 2010 Costume Institute Gala, but it [...]

Shucks, this is embarrassing. I had to search through earlier posts on here and use the powers of Google to figure out who Fearne Cotton was. See, the name was familiar but there was some disconnect between her name and why she is famous that really had me stumped. So, after a bit of researching, I have information.
We’ve covered Fearne here on BagThatStyle a few times before and although I am not super familiar with who she is, she certainly has been known to carry a great bag or [...]

I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen a Jennifer Garner movie (except perhaps the last half of Thirteen Going On Thirty), but that doesn’t stop me from liking her anyway. Despite the fact that she’s rich, gorgeous and married to Ben Affleck, she still seems like she’d be a totally normal person – I imagine that she makes friends with other moms at the playground and loads her own groceries into her car. Obviously, I have a rather vivid fantasy universe in her head.
She’s also a Hollywood mom [...]

Oh, Jennifer Garner. Could you be any more adorable? I think not. I’m not sure if there’s another star in all of Hollywood that seems as down-to-earth, friendly or normal as she does, and I like to pretend that I have a pretty good sense about these things. But in fact, we hardly ever feature her on this blog because she’s rarely out and about, being flashy in front of the paparazzi, carrying bags that inspire blog posts.
She’s still being charmingly normal here, acting like a [...]

Am I the only one that never, ever pictured the Marc Jacobs The Single Studded Bag as pool-appropriate? I mean, it’s tiny and made of real leather – when I think of an appropriate pool bag, I think of an oversized tote in plastic, canvas, or straw – something that’s summery, won’t be ruined by water and chlorine, and can hold a ton of pool essentials.
It seems as though Whitney Port didn’t really consider other options when she laid out poolside recently. With the iPod, sunglasses and book [...]

I’ve been a fan of the entire Osbourne family since I began watching The Osbourne’s on MTV a few years back. Sure, they are all quirky and they’ve all had tons of issues to work through, but hey, who hasn’t? I’ve always said, if you get to know someone well enough, you are bound to find out they’ve had some problems of their own. No biggie.
So, I was pretty stoked to see Kelly Osbourne on the last season of Dancing with the Stars. She was fantabulous! As a contestant [...]
