The character Miranda, on Sex and the City has had the most drastic change from beginning to end of the entire series. For those of you who know (or may not know) during the first few seasons she looked a little, ummm, rough around the edges. She embodied a high power lawyer who didn’t really seem to have enough time for herself. Yet now, vavavooom! Fabulous.
And thankfully, Cynthia Nixon who plays Miranda looked as gorgeous as ever last night at the premiere of Sex and the City 2. While [...]

Confession: I’ve always had something of a crush on Chris Noth. I think that it stems entirely from his character in Sex and the City, who I didn’t hate nearly as much as some people did – he was smart, independent, a bit of a jerk. I’ll admit it – I like a little sprinkle of jerk on my men.
He’s getting a little long in the tooth at this point (aren’t we all?), but it seems as though his fiancĂ©e, Tara Wilson, is helping to keep him young at heart. [...]

Let’s be blunt, shall we?
I have no idea what uberstylist Patricia Field wore to the Sex and the City 2 premiere. No clue. I can’t haven’t been able to find the information online anywhere, and considering that Field has a nearly limitless vintage catalog (not to mention access to basically every current collection in the world) at her disposal, it could be almost anything. I checked all of my usual sources and none of them seem to know, so we’re just going to assume that she just threw on [...]

Somehow, some way, Kristin Davis has managed to not age a single day since Sex and the City started a decade ago (wow, has it really been that long?) I’m not sure if she sold her soul to the devil or what, but whatever she’s doing, it’s working. She always looks radiant and put together, not to mention that she’s an expert at dressing for her figure.
The vintage Jean Desses silk chiffon gown that she chose for the New York City premiere of Sex and the City 2 is absolutely [...]

Ladies and gents, let me get something off of my chest: I cannot wait to see Sex and the City 2. I have been an avid Sex and the City follower since splurging during my college years and convincing my roomies to help pay for HBO, at least when a new season of SATC was on. So, all of this being said, I am counting down the minutes until I get to head to the theater and check out the movie and the fashion all for myself.
Everything kicked off [...]

I can’t even comprehend the thought of having access to a wardrobe as amazing and stylish as that of Sarah Jessica Parker. Not everyone loves her outfits, but I almost always think that she looks flawless an unique when she shows up on the red carpet. She’s not afraid to wear clothes with lots of quirks and personality to them, and she’s one of very few people that I can imagine that can pull them off.
For example, she looks absolutely stunning in this asymmetrical yellow Lanvin dress while out on [...]

Cynthia Nixon

Now this is like a breath of fresh air. We have information about Cynthia Nixon and it has nothing to do with Sex and the City. Don’t get me wrong, I love getting some of the insider info about the upcoming Sex and the City movie, but I was almost getting to the point that I felt like all the images would take away the hype when the movie actually comes out.
So, what do we have here? Cynthia Nixon looking absolutely amazing as she attended the NYC premier of [...]

Kim Cattrall and Miley Cyrus

Sigh, I don’t know how I feel about this. Miley Cyrus has a few cameos on Sex and the City II. Why, I have no idea. If you read this site often, you know that I am not a fan of Miley Cyrus and the way that she is dressing years older than she really is. Now, with this appearance on the highly anticipated follow-up movie, who knows what is going to happen.
Word on the street is that Samantha begins to dress younger and younger in order to keep [...]

SATC 80s 5

I’m a Sex and the City obsessive, and when I’m honest with myself, even I didn’t love the first SATC movie all that much (I thought the consumerism was too shlocky – the whole thing about girl coming to NYC looking for “brands?” WTF?), so I was a bit dismayed when I first heard that they were making another one. I thought, why take something that had a lovely, safe place in the annals of pop culture and beat it into the ground for every cent it’s worth? [...]

Sarah Jessica Parker

Once again, a Sex and the City character carrying the same bag we’ve already seen her carry earlier. I remember hearing that there aren’t as many wardrobe changes during this movie as much as the first one. In part, this has to do with the current state of the economy, but I am sure that there will be a plethora of amazing looks to check out.
Here, Sarah Jessica Parker is pictured walking the set of Sex and the City with Kim Catrall. I really love the plaid shirt that [...]

SJP Givenchy 4

I’ve never been in a movie (shocking, I know, but I’ve got a lot of life left to live), but I imagine that if I ever WAS in one, and I knew that an army of professionals were going to slather me in makeup and hair product and choose my clothes for me every day, then this is exactly how I would show up for the set every day, except I would be wearing flip flops or UGGs, depending on the weather. Because of that, I can’t bring myself [...]

Sarah Jessica Parker

Sometimes I find myself wondering what it would be like to be one of the characters on Sex and the City. I am not talking about, “oh, of all the characters, I can relate to so-and-so the most”, I mean, what do you actually think a day in the life of someone like Sarah Jessica Parker is like while filming? Not only do you have cameras, directors, producers, make-up artists and other actors around you, if you are in a movie like SATC you have hundreds, maybe even thousands of [...]

  • mochababe73: It's okay. The fabric saved the dress. Let's face it, if it had been black, we would have been bore [...]
  • mochababe73: I agree with 19yearslater. The dress is pretty, and I love pink. However, I think that she should [...]
