Not that I’m complaining.

In fact, if I’m going to be haunted by anything, Victoria Beckham’s beautiful Hermes Birkin in Glossy Bordeaux Porosus Crocodile is at the top of my list. I’m normally not one for obviously flashy bags, but the finish and color of the crocodile are just too beautiful to ignore or write off as “too blingy.”

The look is absolute perfection, and I love her for mixing navy blue and black – her Loewe Paloma Snake Satchel looks so much more striking and rich when contrasted with the black of that sumptuous leather coat. The bag itself looks a little old-fashioned, but the big gold closure and the deep navy color are so pretty that I’ll let it slide. Plus, when you’re a spy, you can wear whatever you want.

I stand corrected in my assumptions, however. Victoria Beckham is pretty clearly carrying the Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily Woven Satchel all over town, and I remember seeing Madonna carrying the same bag about a month ago. For the life of me, I can’t understand why two megawatt stars that can have any bag that they want would choose this one, but apparently I just don’t get it.

Finally, we see Catherine looking fabulous, per usual, but carrying a different bag. I had to do a quick double take to make sure (1) the woman at hand is in fact Catherine Zeta-Jones and (2) she wasn’t carrying perhaps two bags, one being a Birkin. Nope, not today. Here we have Catherine looking flawless in NYC carrying a Jimmy Choo Sky Bag.

While it seems like you are very likely to see Victoria carrying a Birkin, it is equally as likely that she will be surrounded by paparazzi. Here, Victoria arrived at London Heathrow Airport carrying that gorgeous 35 cm Shiny Crocodile Miel Hermes Birkin while being surrounded by over 40 members of the paparazzi. Woah!

She looked completely fierce in her black dress and stunning black stockings. I wish I had an outfit that I could pair with stockings like that. And well, for that matter, I wish I had her Birkin too!

Understandably, you want to show off your vastly changed body when everyone is looking, and the 2010 Grammy Awards are a great opportunity to do just that. I even love your black Victoria Beckham dress, who had a strong showing on the Grammy red carpet. There’s only one problem – it doesn’t fit you. You know, in the, uh, chest area. And girl, I’m sympathetic to that – I don’t know how many cute, structured dresses I’ve had to put back into the rack because they couldn’t properly contain the girls. The important thing, however, is that I put them back on the rack. The people behind this dress either should have let out the chest a bit more or sized you up and then tailored down the waist. You still look beautiful, but then you would have looked perfect.

As it turns out, this graphically modern dress was made by none other than BagThatStyle regular Victoria Beckham. Ok, so it wasn’t actually, like, sewn by her, but it’s part of her very well-received line of ready-to-wear that shows in New York City. I’ve been a fan of her collections since she launched them a year ago, and I think that this dress proves that Vicky B’s is easily the best of the celeb clothing lines. She’s head and shoulders above her competition.

Vicky B. supposedly has one of the most enormous private Birkin collections in the world, valued in the millions of dollars, and I don’t doubt it. Hubby David certainly makes enough money to buy a couple, and VB is no slouch herself. I wonder how much her entire wardrobe is worth? We see her carrying a lot of bags that aren’t Birkins as well, so if you add that on top of her Hermes collection, plus all the shoes, jewelry…not to mention clothes, probably even couture…the mind, it boggles.

Well, here Victoria and Marc Jacobs were seen leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in Paris and headed to the famous Thiou restaurant for a bite to eat. The most surprising thing here is the fact that Victoria isn’t carrying one of her many, and I mean many Birkins. And wait, neither is Marc, but he is carrying a very fancy looking clutch. I just can’t tell what it is. Care to fancy a guess?

Recently, momma Beckham was shopping in Paris at Colette and Alaia. I am certainly curious as to what she might have snagged. Either way, I am sure she picked up some great items. Earlier I covered Catherine Zeta Jones and her Birkin. Then, I came across these images and actually thought Catherine and Victoria may have picked out their outfits together. But, probably not. So who rocks the dark outfit, black Birkin and fur look better, Catherine or Victoria?
